What you are opening
The repository includes a Codex plugin manifest, setup skills and a local Rust editor bridge. Use it for editable UI documents; it is listed as a plugin rather than a general MCP-server recommendation.
How to set it up
- Read INSTALL.md and scripts/setup.mjs in the pinned checkout.
- Run npm run setup on a supported local machine; no npm dependency install is needed according to the README.
- Reconnect the plugin or start a new chat, then ask for a canvas and verify an edit/save/reopen.
Requirements and third-party terms
Node 22+, Git and a local Codex client with plugin support. Setup downloads OS/CPU-specific Rust editor, WASM, CanvasKit, fonts and templates and checks hashes. Image generation is enabled by default and may consume Codex quota; request stock images only to disable it. Stock imagery and bundled runtimes retain their own licenses.
Before you add it
- Read the instructions and review any scripts before running them.
- Check tool access, required credentials and third-party network requests.
- The source license and any resource-specific terms take precedence.
